This piece is an installation created specifically for Quick Art Space. The “Severance” GIF was produced using the monoprint technique, and the work on display features the original monoprint prints used to create the animation. The individual prints, generated during the production phase, are hung sequentially one below the other to form the motion sequence of the animation. Twenty frames have been selected from the moment a woman cuts her hair as an act of liberation. This arrangement makes the relationship between digital and physical production processes visible.
